Students will use the main entrance to enter the school and leave the school building and are prohibited to use the fire exit. If a student is caught using the fire exit their year will be informed.
Students must inform their year head if they went to call home or if they have a note to leave early they must get it signed by the year head .
Students will be giving a late note if they are late for role call or late for their class at the time.
Students can ring home if they have forgotten lunch or forgotten materials for a class .
Students will be given a note if they are being unmannered or not following teachers instructions. If they are told to stop misbehaving three times or more it will lead to an automatic detention.
Students must not use school equipment without permission from a member of staff. A note will be giving a note if they are caught using the equipment with no permission from a member of staff.
If a student does not attend a detention that they have received they will either get a double detention duration or they will get a suspension depending on the duration of the detention previously giving or depending on the reason for the previous detention.
Healthy eating policy. This means students must not bring sugary foods/drinks to school. If they are caught with these the, foods/drinks will be confiscated and the student will receive a note.
Clean school policy. If students are caught littering in school property they will be given a note .
If students are caught with chewing gum they will be given an immediate detention .
Students must not be in school after school hours unless they are attending extra curricular club.
Mobile phones are not prohibited during school hours. If a student is caught using their mobile phone on the school grounds during school hours the phone will be confiscated until the end of the day and they can retrieve it from the office at the end of the day.
Any form of bullying will lead to suspension, or in severe cases, expulsion .
Jackets should not be worn in class. If the student is wearing a jacket during class they will be asked to take it off.
Any form of racism towards anybody will lead to a straight suspension, or in severe cases, expulsion.
If a student is caught saying anthing homophobic towards another student/teacher after a warning it will lead in a double detention and a suspension
Detentions will be held on friday afterschool as it is a half day.
