About Our New School In Balgaddy!
is an educate together meaning that every race, gender or ethnicity can join our public secondary school. As we are an educate together, we do not have religion classes. This school will be a low cost school meaning
you will not have to spend much money every year on school books. This school uses I-pads so students will not have to carry a lot of books to every class as the books will be stored on an app called edco learning.
Enrolment for 2021 is now available so book your child in while you can. The students also have the option to skip transition year (4th year). There is a total of 14 classrooms per floor with 3 floors and 2
bathrooms per floor (male and female). The school will have a built in physical education hall and an astro for the children to play on during break. The breaks are 1 hour long for the big break and 30 minutes for
small break. Each class is 40 minutes long unless you have a double class which is 80 minutes long (1 hour 20 mins). The school day starts at 8:40 and the school day is over at 3:50 giving students time to go to
their lockers and be out of the school for 4pm. The school will finish at 1:20 on a Friday with there only being one small break for the duration of the day. The school has a uniform which you will be able to order
soon on the Balgaddy CC website. The school also has a tracksuit which can be worn into school on the day your children has physical education class. Buying this IS an option but if you do not have one you cannot
come into school wearing your own choice of clothing.
